In September of 2007 we sponsored our 2nd Fall Festival. Our Director, Natalia Berdygunia and her associates from the Adventure Team took a group of 20 children from the Solinishka Shelter & Blind Orphanage on a fall adventure. The children spent two days camping along a small lake in a forest outside Verkhnyaya Pyshma.

The children spent their time playing games, cooking and sharing a meal together, singing and telling stories around a campfire. The children enjoyed their time among friends. As part of their adventure the children made artwork depicting their adventure. Camp experiences like these really help motivate the children and give them some happy memories during their childhood in the orphanage.

The cost is low in comparison to the positive impact these trips have for the children. The camp gives the children something to look forward too, and there is much excitement in the air when the time for the camp draws near. Please visit our donation page to help sponsor a camp in part or full.
